Loved this, and I 100% agree. dnd has been SO good for me and my wellbeing, and it's such an immersive creative outlet that is currently taking up most of my life - and I absolutely love it. Having grown up reading fantasy and playing games like Skyrim and World of Warcraft, getting to finally just BE the character fully is what I have always wanted. And we have so much fun engaging in this with our friends!
Totally! I also played a lot of Skyrim growing up and I wish I had discovered DnD around the same time. Just imagine how much more imaginative and immersive our campaigns would have been with the mind’s eye of a child. Thanks so much for reading!
Yeah I know, it would've been an awesome experience as a kid! I have to say I find it very imaginative and immerse now too though, I think from playing so many games and reading fantasy books etc. I have an aptitude for delving into the world and my character.
